On both Saturday and Sunday you can build a pine cone bird feeder at World’s End in Hingham! Winter is a great season to explore World’s End and if you head to the reservation on either Saturday or Sunday, through March, you can venture out into the winter landscape and collect supplies to make your own pine cone bird feeder. Talk to the friendly World’s End rangers before heading out, they will show you great places to find pine cones on the property then take your pine cone back to the gatehouse to build your bird feeder. They will provide all the supplies you will need. While you’re making your bird feeder, learn from the ranger about all the migrating birds that call World’s End home! This program is included with your admission fee to the reservation and fun for kids of all ages. No registration needed, simply visit the property on Saturday or Sunday during normal hours of operation, around 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Click HERE for details.
