The ultimate festival for dogs and their humans is this weekend on the Cape – Agway of Cape Cod’s Paw Palooza on Saturday and Sunday! This two day extravaganza features entertainment, activities and food for dogs and their people. And it’s to raise money for the Cape’s largest animals shelters: The MSPCA in Centerville and the Animal Rescue League’s Brewster Shelter. The main attraction is the DockDogs Competition where doggies jump from a platform into a 45-foot pool, competing for distance, height and speed. There are stunt dog performances and police and K-9 units will be there too from the Yarmouth Police Department and Barnstable County Sheriff’s Department. And as a tribute to fallen Yarmouth Police Sergeant Sean Gannon, performers from Hyannis Sound and Cape Harmony will be on hand both days providing mini concerts to raise money for the Sean Gannon Memorial Foundation. Roving a cappella all-stars! There is a kid zone, a puppy pool pavilion, food trucks and so many fun and interactive activities for people and pups. The festival runs from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at Dennis-Yarmouth High School in South Yarmouth.  https://pawpaloozacapecod.com/
