Jonathan Pappalardo

Jonathan Pappalardo is a 2010 graduate of Colby-Sawyer College with a passion for all things radio. For four years he hosted a weekly two-hour country music show and served as the news director and station manager of his college station, 90.9 WSCS.

In the summer of 2008 Jonathan completed an internship in the radio archives of WGBH and interned with Laurie Kirby at WBZ NewsRadio 1030 in the summer of 2009. Both internships solidified his love for radio and news.

He began volunteering at WATD upon graduation and helps Rob and Lisa with The South Shore’s Morning News.

Besides radio, Jonathan is an zealous writer who wrote news and feature stories as well as editorials for his college newspaper The Courier. He served as news editor when he was a junior and senior and was in charge of lay out for the news pages.

When he was a junior, Jonathan gained membership into the National Communication Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta. Jonathan also received the Communication Studies Baccalaureate Award and was one of two seniors to receive Colby-Sawyer’s Student Achievement Award.

Jonathan is an avid country music fan, blogger, traveler, foodie, and reader who has a deep curiosity for the world around him. He loves breaking news and staying informed of current events. When he isn’t pursuing his enjoyment for radio and writing, he loves spending time with his golden retriever Lily and visiting his family’s townhouse in Bretton Woods, NH.
