Samantha Tracey

Samantha Tracey graduated from Salem State University in 2013 with a degree in Journalism.

She heard about WATD months before graduation, and reached out to Ed Perry in hopes of switching her path from print to radio Journalism. Come June after graduation, Samantha started with WATD, and switched gears to a new style of reporting.

Samantha says although radio is different from the print journalism she was used to, she has quickly adapted to the style and loves really getting to the core of a story.

Samantha has been reporting on local issues in a variety of towns: Bridgewater, Abington, Carver, Weymouth, East Bridgewater, Hanson, Halifax, etc. She says growing up on the South Shore has made it interesting now to be covering news in such familiar places.
