Middleboro: Daughter of crash victim asks for help

Michelle Dutra is asking for help in identifying the driver who killed her father, Michael Dutra, in a hit and run crash on Wood Street in Middleboro on Saturday. She believes it was an accident, but finding the killer will help her family get through the tragedy. Police have narrowed their search to a light colored Jeep Grand Cherokee, likely with a shattered right headlight and damage to the right front bumper. Middleboro Detective Simonne Ryder said police are reviewing security tapes from a variety of sources and hope to close in on the driver. Anyone with information about the crash should call the Middleboro detective’s division at 508-923-4636.
