Milton: High School Lockdown Lifted

A lockdown at Milton High School has been lifted, central office staff confirms. It started around 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 8 and lasted a little over an hour.

The lockdown turned out to be a false alarm, caused by miscommunication about a student possibly having a weapon inside the school.

This is the second lockdown at Milton High in two months. On March 25, Jonathan Villagran, 19, of Watertown was arrested outside the school with a loaded handgun, a bottle of rum and marijuana. He was charged for unlawful firearm and ammunition possession.
