South Shore: Police Chase Suspect Through Several Towns

A Brockton man wanted by police will go before a judge on Monday, facing a slew of charges in connection with a chase through several towns on the South Shore.

It began around 2:00 a.m. Sunday, when Bridgewater police pulled over 32-year-old Joshua Mousette.

During traffic stop, officers say he sped off, apparently high on drugs, leading them on a chase through East Bridgewater, West Bridgewater, Abington, and Brockton, where Mousette apparently crashed his car into several cruisers and through an active construction zone.

Mousette, who has five outstanding felony warrants, was finally arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, assault with a dangerous weapon, and O.U.I., among other things.

He’ll appear in Brockton District Court.
