Plymouth: Decommissioning of Pilgrim Under Review

Could the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant close sooner than May of 2019? And could someone other than Entergy, its owner, decommission it?

Plymouth’s Entergy Working Group received a firm maybe to both questions Tuesday.

Early results of a plant inspection have shown serious deficiencies and two other plants have hired third party companies that specialize in decommissioning.
