Milton: Two Arrested After Break-In

Two people have been arrested following a break-in in Milton.

Police say that at 2:43 p.m. Friday they received a call from a Brush Hill Rd. resident who said their home had been broken into and that the intruders may still be inside.

Officers arrived on scene and entered the home through a damaged door.

As they made their way up to the second floor the two suspects broke out a second floor window and proceeded to leap from the house to the ground below.

They were then apprehended by officers outside.

One suspect, identified as a 21-year-old resident of Garfield Avenue, Hyde Park, was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Milton where he was treated for an injury sustained in his fall before being taken to the Milton Police Station where he is being held on $2500.00 cash bail on charges of breaking & entering daytime, possession of burglarious tools and vandalism.

The second subject, identified as a 29-year-old resident of the same street in Hyde Park, was also injured and is currently under guard at a hospital in the city of Boston.

He is being charged with similar crimes as his alleged accomplice along with two outstanding arrest warrants from Roxbury District Court and is being held without bail until his appearance in court Tuesday.
