Duxbury: Planning Board Approves Proposed Oyster Farm at Battelle Property

Duxbury’s Planning Board officially approves of Island Creek Oysters’ proposed farm on the Battelle Labs property and is encouraging residents to do the same at the upcoming annual Town Meeting.

Duxbury residents will have the final say on whether or not the oyster farm moves forward; Duxbury’s Annual Town Meeting is taking place on Saturday, March 10th, at the Duxbury Performing Arts Center starting at 9:00 a.m.

Mimi Walker is a 2016 graduate from Emerson College, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism.
