Halifax: Firm Picked to Design Pump House on Monponsett Pond

The Halifax Board of Selectmen has picked a design firm to create a blueprint for a proposed aluminum sulfate pump-house that would treat the waters of Monponsett Pond.

Halifax Town Administrator Charlie Seelig explains more:

Princeton Hydro will return to the Selectmen with a cost estimate for the facility once the blueprint is finished. However, Seelig emphasizes that the decision to start building the pump-house has to come directly from MassDEP:

The Halifax Board of Selectmen meets again on Tuesday, February 27th.
