Hull: Student Arrested For Bringing Bullets Into High School

A teenager is facing charges after he allegedly brought bullets into Hull High School.

Hull Police say that at around noon on Thursday the principal received a report from a student that the suspect, identified only as a 17-year-old male, had sent them a photo of three .32 caliber bullets.

The 17-year-old is enrolled in Hull Public Schools’ Satellite program, which services those in special education through part-time instruction at the high school and a separate space at the Jacobs Elementary School.

The School Resource Officer located the student, who was searched and found to be in possession of three bullets.

A search of the student’s locker and home was conducted but no additional ammunition or firearms were located.

Citing an abundance of caution Hull Police reached out to Massachusetts State Police to bring their firearms-sniffing K-9s to search the high school, Jacobs school, and the student’s residence.

The student was taken to an area hospital for a medical evaluation and is scheduled to be arraigned at Hingham District Court at a later date.
