Bourne: Police Facebook Post Offering Tax Assistance To Drug Dealers

Taxes can be challenging for any self-employed entrepreneur, especially those involved in an illegal trade.

Well the Bourne Police Department is offering their assistance.

The Department posted a notice on their Facebook page saying that their “certified drug transaction reporting specialists” will be available at no charge to assist with analyzing business dealings.

Police say this service can be accessed by going to 175 Main St. and asking for the “Tax Prep Special.”

For those unable to make the trip, police say these specialists will travel to your location.

Those interested in participating in the program are asked to have all the records and receipts of their business expenses and transactions available for review.

Document storage is also being offered as part of the program.

Police say the “certified drug transaction reporting specialists” are available to all, regardless of residency.
