A Brockton woman has been indicted in connection with the stabbing death of her two sons.

The Plymouth County District Attorney’s office says that on Friday a Grand Jury returned indictments against Latarsha Sanders on two counts of Murder and one count of Misleading a Police Investigation.

On February 5 Brockton Police responded to a call for a medical emergency on Prospect St.

Upon arrival emergency crews reportedly found Sanders outside the home, distraught and combative.

She was taken for a medical evaluation while police searched the home where they found five-year-old Lason Brito and eight-year-old Edson Brito dead from multiple stab wounds.

The DA’s office says Sanders made statements to police that she stabbed her children.

Sanders is currently being held without bail and will be arraigned on the indictments in Brockton Superior Court on April 10.
