Plymouth: Family Amusement Company Looking to Open Game Room on Harbor

For 45 years Al’s, on Plymouth’s Water Street rotary, produced pizza and subs for a hungry public. The father and son partnership decided to retire and lease the building. For several years, 60-year-old Ryan Family Amusements has looked for a Plymouth location. The employee-owned company operates bowling alleys and game rooms in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. They plan to open a game room in the former Al’s location by the summer.

President of Ryan Family Amusements, Rob Nichols:

The newest Ryan’s will offer primarily redemption games and employ 12 people year round. It will be similar to their entertainment centers in Newport and Martha’s Vineyard.
