West Bridgewater: Pedestrian Struck Sunday Night

A Bridgewater woman was seriously injured after being struck by a car around 9 p.m. Sunday.

West Bridgewater Police say the incident took place on West Center St. (Route 106) directly over Route 24.

Officers arrived on scene to find an individual in the roadway with serious head and leg injuries and quickly started CPR and first aid.

The victim, identified as a 28-year-old woman, was transported to the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton before being Med-Flighted to a Boston Medical Facility.

The incident remains under investigation.
