A Middleborough man is facing charges after he allegedly propositioned a teenage girl.

Randolph Police say that at around 6 p.m. on June 21 a 16-year-old girl walked into the Police station and said that a man, later identified as 55-year-old Glenn Everett, walked up to her while she was waiting at a bus stop on North Main St.

He began talking to her, at one point offering her cash in exchange for sexual acts.

The girl refused and Everett allegedly continued to try and talk to her before she eventually walked away and he returned to his car and left the area.

The victim was able to take a picture of the man who approached with her cell phone and she turned the photo over to police.

Everett was identified after a subsequent investigation and arrested on Wednesday without incident.

He was expected to be arraigned today in Quincy District Court on a charge of Engaging in Sexual Conduct for a Fee with a Child Under Age 18.

Chief William Pace praised the victim in this case saying, “The girl was very brave to walk away and even take a picture of the man who approached her, so that perhaps another young girl will not have to go through this same ordeal.”
