Norwell: Veterans’ Luncheon Honors Those Who Fought in WWII, Korea and Vietnam

The men and women that fought in WWII, Korea and Vietnam are deeply moved as they attend a luncheon in their honor.

As 160 Veterans gathered under a tent to eat, drink and listen to the live band at a beautiful property in Norwell Thursday, emotions ran high.

That’s Korean War Navy Veteran, Gene Gingras, who says they were treated poorly when returning home from the war, and truly appreciates this gesture.

State Rep for Norwell, Hanover and Rockland, Dave Decoste was in attendance to show his support.

Norwell Veterans Agent, David Osbourne, is responsible for putting this luncheon together and was able to locate Norwell Veterans by their birthdate and three Veterans over the age of 95 were in attendance.
