South Shore: Nuclear Waste Tour On Saturday

The New England portion of the Environmental Justice and Nuclear Waste Tour will be coming to the South Shore on Saturday.

Diane Turco, Director of Cape Downwinders, tells WATD News that the threat posed by this spent fuel doesn’t just impact the South Shore.

Turco also says there will be many speakers taking part as they seek feedback from the community.

The event will kick off at 1 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church (First Parish) at Town Square in Plymouth.

A second event will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Glastonbury Abbey on Hull St. in Hingham.
