Plymouth County: Home Sales Down, Prices Up In September

Home sales seemed to be slowing down in Plymouth County.

Register of Deeds John Buckley tells WATD News that last month saw a decrease in the number of homes sold.

However, home sale prices continue to rise.

A rise in interest rates lead to fewer people refinancing in Plymouth County.

However, Buckley says there were also fewer foreclosures.

At the end of the month the registry will be displaying a historic document that deals with allowing a charge for ferry service on the Jones River.
