WATD: In-Studio Forum with 7th Plymouth District State Rep. Candidates

In a political forum in the WATD studios last night, candidates for state representative in the 7th Plymouth District serving Abington, Whitman and parts of East Bridgewater, were asked which committee assignments they would prefer.

It’s an open seat vacated by Jeff Diehl, who’s running for US Senate, so either candidate would be a freshman with fresh committee assignments.

Republican Allyson Sullivan said she would prefer Ways and Means and the Judiciary Committee.

Democrat Alex Bezanson said he hoped to be assigned to the Committee on Education.
