Plymouth County: Real Estate Activity Trends Down In October

The latest real estate numbers for the month of October show mortgage and sales activity in Plymouth County trending down.

Plymouth County Register of Deeds, John Buckley says while housing prices gains have slowed down, the average sales price has increased.

While October foreclosure deeds were higher this October than last October, the trend is moving in the right direction.

The Plymouth County Registry of Deeds continues to highlight examples of historic documents from their collection the last Friday of every month.

With that in mind on Friday, November 30th, they will display a document from may of 1637, that authorizes the construction of one of our first highways that started in “Duxborough”, now Duxbury.
