Scituate: Crews Respond To Water Main Break

Scituate residents and businesses are being warned water service may be disrupted following a break.

Town officials say the break took place at 100 Central Ave.

The main water line has been shut down while repairs are being made but service in the area will be disrupted for the next 4 to 6 hours and there may be some discoloration in the water as the service is restored.

Residents are being advised to take necessary precautions and allow the water to flush before using and to check before doing laundry.
