Two people are facing charges in connection with recent break-ins at two jewelry stores.

Wareham Police say the breaks occurred on October 24 at Aaron Marks Jewelers, at Gold World on October 29, and at Aaron Marks Jewelers again on November 1.

The suspect allegedly smashed their way into the building, smashed jewelry cases, and stole multiple items before fleeing.

Police were able to identify two suspects, and a similar crime in Bourne was being investigated by Bourne police and the Barnstable County Sherriff’s Office and Wareham Police assisted in that investigation.

One of the suspects, 21-year-old Erin Pardi of Wareham, was involved in a minor car accident in New Bedford on Thursday and arrested on an unrelated Wareham warrant.

Wareham Police took her into custody and got a search warrant to search the vehicle where they found several pieces of stolen items.

Police say the other suspect, 24-year-old Anthony J. Vieira, was arrested on Sunday during a vehicle stop during which time he jumped out running into the bog area.

He was then taken into custody near the Woods at Wareham complex.

Vieira is being held on $5,000 cash bail and is expected in Wareham District Court on charges of Breaking and entering in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony (3 counts); Larceny from a building, (3 counts); and Receiving stolen property over, $1,200 (3 counts).

Pardi is being charged with receiving stolen property over $1,200. She is also facing charges related to the previous warrant and police say more charges are expected against her.
