Three people are facing charges of illegally growing marijuana.

Braintree Police say that in December their Drug Control Unit began an investigation into a possible marijuana grow house at 350 Shaw St.

Investigators were led to three more addresses, two in Quincy and one in Westford, believed to be involved in the operation.

Braintree Police along with other state and local agencies executed search warrants at the three locations on Wednesday.

Police say investigators seized several growing plants of marijuana, packaged marijuana, and equipment used to aid in the growth of the substance.

The operation led to the arrest of 30-year-old Xu Feng Wang of Boston, at the Braintree location, on charges of Trafficking a Class D Substance and Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws.

A 48-year-old Quincy man will also be charged with Trafficking a Class D Substance Subsequent Offense.

A 23-year-old Quincy woman is being charged with Trafficking a Class D Substance.

Quincy Police, Westford Police, Holbrook Police, Weymouth Police, Massachusetts State Police, the FBI, and DEA participated in the investigation.

The Quincy locations were at 360 Belmont St. and 16 Newport Terrace.

The Westford location was at 75 Tenney Rd.
