Fire crews were dispatched to a Hanover home Monday morning.

Hanover Fire officials say that construction crews arrived and found smoke coming from a residence on Broadway that is under renovation.

A call was made to Hanover fire at 7:12 a.m. and upon arrival crews found heavy smoke conditions inside the building.

After establishing a water supply firefighters were able to find an interior fire and extinguish it.

An overhaul was conducted and the building was ventilated to remove smoke and dangerous gases.

No injuries were reported.

The surrounding roadways were treated with sand to prevent dangerous driving conditions that could be caused by the water.

The incident is being invested by the Hanover Fire & Police Joint Fire Investigation Unit.
