Marshfield: Plastic Bag Ban Goes Into Effect

Marshfield’s Plastic Bag Ban went into effect Thursday.

Jeanne Ryer, of the Marshfield Plastic Bag Reduction Group, told WATD’s Liz Raven that one of the goals of the ban is to raise awareness on how prevalent plastic is.

Ryer says that in the course of one year over 13 million plastic bags were distributed in Marshfield.
