Wareham: Plymouth Woman Hospitalized After New Years Hit & Run

A Plymouth woman was hospitalized after being struck in a New Year’s Day hit and run.

Wareham Police say the 34-year-old victim was struck around 5:45 p.m. in the area of the Krua Thai II restaurant at 3043 Cranberry Highway.

The suspect vehicle, described as a silver sport utility type vehicle, fled the scene towards Bourne.

The victim was flown to Rhode Island Hospital Trauma Center with serious injuries.

Police say there are no suspects at this time and that the case is being investigated by Wareham Police detectives.
