A New Hampshire man turned himself into Hingham police after he allegedly exposed himself inside a restaurant.

Police say the incident took place on October 23, 2018 inside the Panera Bread restaurant on Derby St. when a woman reported that a man sitting at a table facing her exposed himself to her as he made sexual gestures and stared at her.

The man then left the scene but a friend of the woman’s got his license plate, which was from New Hampshire, as he drove away.

An alert was put out for his vehicle and after police were unable to locate him they obtained an arrest warrant the following day.

Police say the suspect, 62-year-old Craig S. Pasco of Wentworth, NH, turned himself in at the Hingham Police Station on Monday.

He was taken into custody and arraigned at Hingham District Court on Tuesday on charges of Open and Gross Lewdness and Disorderly Conduct.

Pasco was ordered to have no contact with the victim (who does not know the man) and stay away from the Derby Street Shoppes.

He posted $500 bail and was released to return to court April 2.
