Police are searching for 47-year-old Allen Warner of Rockland.

An indictment has been handed down for a man accused of killing his wife on Main St. in Marshfield.

The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office says that a Plymouth County Grand Jury indicted 48-year-old Allen Warner charging him with one count each of Murder, Kidnapping, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Loaded Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Larceny of a Motor Vehicle and Leaving the Scene with Property Damage.

The charges stem from an incident that took place on September 24 where Marshfield Police responded to a domestic violence incident on Route 3A.

Police say 48-year-old Shana Warner said that her ex-husband Allen Warner jumped in the car and she was very hurt.

Upon arrival officers found her suffering from life threatening injuries and transported her to South Shore Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

A search then began for Allen Warner and he was found the next day in Whitman after a hit and run with property damage was reported at a business.

Allen is scheduled to be arraigned in Plymouth Superior Court at a later date.
