Pembroke: Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting with 40B Housing Developer

The  Pembroke Zoning Board of Appeals is meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) night to discuss a controversial proposal for an affordable housing project, to be built on Water Street in Pembroke.

The Chapter 40B housing proposal put forth by developer The River Marsh LLC, calls for 56 units, which chairman of the planning board, Rebecca Coletta, says will cause a public safety issue.

Scott Chapman, a Pembroke resident who lives on Water Street says another main concern is the environmental impact since this property is situated on the North River which is a delicate resource in our area.

Representatives from The River Marsh LLC will go in front of the Zoning Board of Appeals at their meeting tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. at Pembroke Town Hall.
