March 14th is upon us on again, numerically noted as 3-14 aka Pi Day.

Lindsay-Leigh Consolati, head of the Math Department at Marshfield High School, tells WATD News that at their school Pi Day has become a fun, and fashionable, event.

The faculty will also be taking part in a Pi Day gathering once classes conclude today.

Consalati believes that part of the reason behind the holiday’s rising popularity is due to the increase use of STEAM programs in school curriculums.
