Boston: Hearing On Nuclear Bill at State House Tuesday

The state legislature’s Joint Committee on Public Health will hold a hearing today on House bill 3492, an bill relative to community radiological emergency response funds. 

 

 

Representative Kathy LaNatra, a co-sponsor of the bill, tells WATD News this will help ensure that the Decommissioning Trust Fund is used properly.

 

 

It also aims to protect local taxpayers as the cleanup process moves forward. 

 

 

Today’s hearing is scheduled to begin at 1 PM.
