Milton: Investigation Concluded Into High School Lacrosse Coach

An investigation has concluded regarding accusations of inappropriate conduct against a coach at Milton High School.

Prinicipal James Jette says that the findings of their investigation into their girls lacrosse coach has determined that their protocols regarding communication for coaches wasn’t followed as some of the texts were personal and not team related.

Jette goes on to say that while the messages weren’t criminal or sexual in nature many of the student-athletes were left feeling uncomfortable, something which is not condoned by the district in regards to communications.

With the school year ending Jette says they will began planning the upcoming year with new coaching staff and reinforce protocols regarding communications regarding coaches and student athletes.

In an earlier story it mentioned the coach was facing charges, WATD didn’t mean to imply that criminal charges have been filed and apologize for any misunderstanding.
