Hanover: Traffic Concerns Surround New Mall Project

Hanover’s Planning Board held a public meeting with developers of the mall Monday night with only 26 residents out of 15,000 in attendance.

Plans for the mall include nearly 300 apartment units with an open concept mixed retail space shopping experience similar to Derby Street.

Hanover resident Maureen Elliot has her doubts of the success of the mall due to life style changes.

One of the biggest concerns is traffic along Route 53. Chair of Hanover’s Planning Board MaryAnn Brugnoli.

The planning board will meet with mall developers to hear the traffic consultant’s results at the next meeting on Monday, July 29th at the high school.
