Hanson: Town Approves Host Community Agreement For Cannabis Grow Facility

The Town of Hanson is entering into a host community agreement with Impressed LLC for a recreational marijuana grow facility in town. The Board of Selectmen discussed the terms of the agreement during Tuesday night’s meeting.

Selectmen Chairman Laura FitzGerald Kemmett read a brief statement prior to fielding questions from the public.

The board would vote unanimously to enter into a host community agreement with Impressed LLC.

Ralph Greenberg, who co-owns the company with his daughter Alli, says this is just the first step of the process for a cultivation facility that they’re proposing at 15 Commercial Street in Hanson.

Several items were addressed in the agreement like odor control, water usage and a year one community meeting to review the company’s operations and hear feedback from the public.

The agreement is just the first step in the process for a cultivation facility that’s being proposed at 15 Commercial St in Hanson. Town Counsel Kate Federoff explains.

In the meantime, Impressed LLC will also need to gain approval from the state’s Cannabis Control Commission.
