One person was transported to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Hanover.

The crash took place at the intersection of Route 53 and 139 last night around 9:30 p.m.

A black sedan that was travelling northbound on Route 53 left the roadway, and crashed into the sign of the Crossroads Cafe. The Fire Department says the driver of that vehicle was transported to the hospital. Their condition is not known.

The Plymouth County Sheriff’s BCI and Hanover Police were on scene taking photos of the vehicle.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
