Braintree: Four Candidates for Mayor Answer Questions at Public Forum

Candidates for mayor of Braintree answered questions at candidate’s night at town hall last night.

The bigger issues brought up at the forum were over-development and traffic issues in town.

The four candidates are running for mayor are Braintree Electric Light Commissioner Tom Reynolds, School Committee Chair Lisa Fiske Heger  and Braintree town council members Charles Kokoros and Tom Bowes.

Bowes feels development was getting out of control and says that would be a priority for him.

Charles Kokoros also wants development more controlled, as well as creating a master plan for Braintree.

Lisa Fiske Heger thinks Braintree needs more vision.

Tom Reynolds says his municipal experience makes him the best candidate and he wants to give back to the town.

The candidates for mayor of Braintree will hold two more forums on October 2nd and the 16th at town hall before the November 5th town election.
