Hingham: Quincy Women Arrested for Breaking into Home

A 36-year-old Quincy woman is facing charges for breaking into a Hingham home.

A little after midnight on Friday, a resident on Middle Street heard a noise in their home.

When going downstairs to investigate they discovered a woman in their house, wearing multiple jackets belonging to them as well as carrying a bag filled with their belongings.

The woman was told to get out of the house, and she left.

Police responded with K9 officer Pedy who was able to track the woman to where she was hiding under some bushes near a home on School Street with multiple coats, various food items, a pair of sneakers and a key fob belonging to the residents who found her in their home.

36-year-old Lindsey Tyler Hurld of Quincy was arrested without incident and is charged with felony breaking and entering, receiving stolen property over 12-hundred dollars and Disturbing the peace.

She was held without bail and arraigned in Hingham District Court.
