A Scituate resident helped to break a world record in ballet.

Former Norwell Math & Physics Teacher Judy Doherty was on Live with Kelly & Ryan Tuesday morning to take part in a special segment.

Doherty says they were able to break the previous record of 245 with more than 300 people and Guinness representatives on hand.

WATD News asked the Former Norwell Math & Physics Teacher if this was a difficult thing to do.

En pointe means supporting their body weights on the tips of their feet using pointe shoes.
