South Shore: Crews Working To Restore Power Across The Region

Many remain without power this afternoon after a powerful storm rolls through the South Shore.

Eversource Spokesman Reid Lamberty tells WATD News thousands of their customers have been impacted.

 

National Grid Spokeswoman Mary-Leah Messenger they have crews working throughout Plymouth County dealing with more than 20,000 outages.

 

Lamberty says they have made progress but that it could be a while for some customers before all the lights are back on.

 

Residents are told to avoid any downed power lines and to assume they are live while also being careful with leaves as they may be hiding downed lines.
