South Shore: Utility Companies Say Full Power Restoration May Take A While

The South Shore experienced major power outages due to the storm that hit the area today, but Eversource Spokesman Reid Lamberty says they are making progress.

National Grid Spokeswoman Christine Milligan says they are working to restore power to those impacted.

However, Lamberty tells WATD News that the damage caused by the storm is hampering efforts.

Milligan also tells WATD News that some customers may be waiting a while before the lights come back on.

Residents are also being advised to watch for any downed power lines and to report any they say to their utility company or local authorities.
