Wareham: State Police Release Name Of Crash Victim

Authorities have released the name of the man killed in a Wareham crash.

Massachusetts State Police say 19-year-old Jack Quindley of Carver died after being struck by a vehicle.

Quindley and his 18-year-old passenger exited the 2000 Nissan Xterra they were driving after it left the roadway and struck a guardrail.

As they were inspecting the damage to the disabled vehicle, which was now partially in the left travel lane, a 2008 BMW, driven by a 51-year-old man from Hyannis, then struck Quindley and the Nissan.

All three men were transported to Tobey Hospital where Quindley succumbed to his injuries.

The two other men sustained minor injuries.

State Police say the incident is currently under investigation and they won’t be identifying the two other individuals involved in the incident at this time.
