Marshfield: Ed Perry Announces Return Of WMEX

During WATD’s Open House earlier this year Ed Perry, owner of WATD parent company, Marshfield Broadcasting, announced that the legendary 1510 WMEX AM would be returning to local airwaves in January of 2020. 

Thursday afternoon he told WATD’s Audrey Constant that there had been a major development.


Operations Manager Larry Nelson explained what the format of the station would be going forward.


Perry also made an announcement regarding a Brockton station.


Perry also said that listeners will be able to pick up the station in the O’Neill Tunnel on their way into Boston.
