A Brockton teen was pulled from the water Tuesday afternoon.

Brockton Police say that at around 2:41 p.m. they received a call from a man who said his 13-year-old son was missing and he believed he got lost in the woods behind their house on Goldfinch Dr.

Officers began a search in the area with help from Brockton Fire and the Easton Police.

A K-9 officer tracked the teenage boy deep into the woods near a body of water and he found the teen stuck in the icy, muddy water that was up to his chest.

Rescuers were able to safely remove the boy from the water and he was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center before being transported him to Children’s Hospital in Boston for more evaluation and tests.
