A Middleboro man is facing numerous animal cruelty charges and is due in court tomorrow.

Michael Perette owned Perette Cane Corso Kennel on Marion Road and is charged with 5 felony animal cruelty charges and 23 animal neglect and abuse misdemeanor charges.

In September, 24 dogs were removed from the property who were found to be living in extremely harsh conditions.

4 had to be euthanized due to their aggression and trauma, however most were able to thrive after being taken out of that environment.

4 birds, including a peacock and a donkey, were also removed from the premises by the Animal Rescue League of Boston.

Perette is scheduled to be arraigned in Wareham District Court tomorrow.
