Milton: Curry College To Conduct Test Of Siren System

People living near Curry College in Milton are being advised about a siren test the school will be conducting Wednesday afternoon.

Milton Police say the school will be conducting a test of their outdoor warning siren system.

The test will begin around 1:30 p.m. at which time a “wailing” emergency tone will sound for approximately 3 minutes.

Once the test is confirmed, the siren will sound again for roughly thirty seconds with a beeping “all clear” tone.

The test is expected to last approximately 5 minutes in total with residents on Bradlee Rd., Milton St. West, and sections of Blue Hill Ave. and Brush Hill Rd. near the campus are considered to be within the perimeter of the coverage area.
