Weymouth: Faith Leaders Voice Opposition to Proposed Compressor Station

Faith leaders came together yesterday to voice their opposition to Enbridge’s proposed compressor station being built at the Fore River Bridge in Weymouth.

Betsy Sowers, a Minister for Earth Justice at the Old Cambridge Baptist Church was present and says they gathered to share their message of love.

Sowers says she has many concerns about this project- including the local and global environmental ramifications.

The gathering took place yesterday at the Fore River Bridge in Weymouth and was attended by people from dozens of congregations, spiritual communities and members of the Fore River Residents Against the Compressor Station.
