There was a fire and a rescue at Norwell’s Capeway Motel at 149 Washington Street (Rt. 53) on Wednesday.
That was Norwell Fire Chief Jeff Simpson.
The resident was transported to the hospital by the Hanover Fire Department ambulance.
Chief Simpson says the quick reaction of the Deputy Fire Chief Dave Kean and police officer Sarah Harding were key to the rescue of the disabled occupant.
