The Plymouth Fire Department says three kayakers were rescued near the Bug Lighthouse near Duxbury Bay this afternoon.
Plymouth Fire Chief Ed Bradley says all three were transported to the BID Hospital in Plymouth as a precaution.
Crews from Duxbury and Plymouth Fire, and the harbormasters responded to the scene.
They were able to get the kayakers safely on a boat, and were brought to the dock by the Plymouth Harbormaster’s office.
All three were transported as a precaution due to the water temperature, which is still 56 degrees.
